That paths the way to a straight up dancefloor soul heaven with tracks by Mr V, Master At Work, Joey Negro, Fish Go Deep and my current anthem by Akabu "Phuturebound"! Zero dB of future jazz label Fluid Ounce (remember Heineken's event Elevation 321 in 2003?) wraps things up nicely with a wicked remix of late Suba's "Samba do Gringo".

Tomo: "Hello hello... welcome again to Gooodness Radio Show! This mix reflects my musical weekend at WOMAD 2006 & Junction party in Bali. The show begin with some afrobeat action courtesy of Ty feat. Tony Allen with "The Willing" and all time favourite Fela Kuti's track "Water No Get Enemy" (Bucky Leo did a cover at WOMAD). The journey continues with David Mancuso's Loft party classics disco tunes to syncopated beats of Solid Groove & Masters At Work. Quality french house from Afromento & DJ Gregory who rocked the dancefloor at Junction Bali (thank you jakartameets & Future10 for the great party!). Then finally the show ends with a disco cover of Curtis Mayfield's classic tune from the blaxploitation movie Superfly, "Give Me Your Love".

Continuing off my last set, this instalment kicks off from the last track by Simon Lee & Raj Gupta - the tripped out guitar riffs and funky percussions of "Azteca". Following that is a "big-room" session of dark tribal grooves and deep house stompers both old and new. I dropped the delightful "Lights Off" by Loudeast, simmer up some old Deeelite b-sides "Build The Bridge" and whip them up with Danny Tenaglia's new track "Dibiza" (I played one of the 3 remixes - the Kick Ass Mix). Then it's a back-to-back mash up of old and new records, flipping out some John Creamer & Steph K's with Carlton Bank's new track "Lust Und Liebe", DJ Yellow's freshie "Morsheeba" on Artofdisco, go back in time with Tijuana's tribal anthem "Groove Is In The Air", throw in Gregory's new track "Traffic" on Faya Combo.... then a classic bit by Trey Smith and wrapping things up with the deep-feelin classic "The Answer" by Silicone Soul. The first broadcast of the Gooodness Soundsystem on Gooodness Radio by founder Nomsta. This 72 minutes mix begins with a vibey track called "The Ghetto" by the late 70s soul legend Donny Hathaway singing to a live audience.
